As an adventure guide who thrives in the rugged beauty of the Carpathian Mountains, my recent stay at Splendid offered a glimpse of a different kind of luxury. The suite room, though large and comfortable, lacked the authentic charm I seek in my mountain lodges. However, the staff's warmth and efficiency, alongside the tasty and varied meals, added value to the experience. The hotel's proximity to the beach and local attractions was convenient, though I missed the tranquility of the wild.On the facilities front, the laundry service and ironing facilities were convenient for a quick refresh after outdoor adventures. The free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV catered to modern needs, but the lack of a sitting area or terrace left me longing for a connection to nature.
